# Home Battery Planner

> Size a home solar battery in Ireland using your real ESB Networks smart-meter CSV. Free tool with battery + inverter recommendation, solar simulation, and payback estimate.

- Web page: https://homebattery.ie/

---

Upload your ESB or Electric Ireland half-hourly CSV and get a battery recommendation tailored to a planned solar PV install — based on your real consumption, not a guess.

- Two recommended sizes: one to maximise solar self-consumption, one to stay off the grid during expensive hours.
- Payback estimate with smart-tariff arbitrage, plus a matching inverter suggestion.
- No signup. Your CSV is processed in memory; reports are encrypted at rest and your MPRN is never stored in plaintext.

By uploading you agree to the [Terms](https://homebattery.ie/terms) and [Privacy Policy](https://homebattery.ie/privacy).
